When reporting a lost mobile phone, please include your IMEI number in the 'Description/Identifying Characteristics' field. This serial number is a unique identification for your phone and can be obtained from your service provider. 

Black & White Cabs receive many reports of lost property each week and receive lost items from drivers every day. Customer enquiries regarding lost property will be responded to only if the article is located. 

If the driver is able to return a Lost Property item found in a vehicle to the passenger, they will do so. The driver is entitled to be paid for returning lost property to the passenger by use of metered fare only.

If a driver finds lost property in their vehicle they have 48 hours to return lost property either to the customer, by arrangement, or to Black & White Cabs Offices.

Not every item believed to have been lost in cab will be recovered, there are many reasons for this e.g. the item is removed by the next passenger or the items falls from the vehicle. 

Lost property is attended to during office hours between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Items lost over weekend and public holiday periods will be attended to upon the return of normal office hours.
