Tolls/Charges
The passenger is responsible for all tolls and road use charges incurred during the hiring.

Multiple Hiring
Multiple hiring is permitted with the consent of the first and subsequent hirers. The meter is preset at 75% of the standard fare. Each hirer must pay the amount shown on the meter at their destination.

Business Class
The cost of a specifically ordered Business Class vehicle is the standard taxi metered rate plus an $12 surcharge. The surcharge does not apply if Business Class is not specifically requested when ordering, or when the vehicle is hailed or hired from a rank.

Maxi Cabs & People Movers
The cost of a specifically ordered high occupancy vehicle (5 or more passengers) is the standard taxi metered rate plus an $12 surcharge. The surcharge does not apply if a high occupancy vehicle is not specifically requested when ordering, or when the vehicle is hailed or hired from a rank. The surcharge is not applicable to Maxi Cabs if a wheelchair accessible taxi is ordered.

Black & White Cabs will cater to your baby needs. Please Note: The cost of a specifically ordered baby seat or baby capsule is the standard taxi metered rate plus a $12 surcharge. Please indicate your requirements when booking your cab.

Please Note
- Taxi Fare evasion is an offence. The maximum penalty is $4000.
- Passengers MUST fasten seat belts.
- The driver may request a deposit up to the estimated trip cost before the start of the journey.
- The driver can legally charge a person who soils the taxi an additional amount (up to $100)
for cleaning the taxi.
- All fares are GST inclusive.
