John has been General Manager of Black & White Cabs since October 2003. He has extensive experience in the taxi industry, having bought his first taxi licence in 1988. John served on the Board of the Garden City Cabs Cooperative in Toowoomba and become the Cooperative's Manager in 1992, and Managing Director in 1996. John is a board member of the Taxi Council of Queensland after being elected as a delegate in 1994. He served lengthy terms as both Vice President and President. Prior to his involvement with the taxi industry, John owned and operated a number of businesses following a career in the banking industry. |
