I have received a message that asks me to cover a group eg.
Can u cover a group for me?
Holland Pk to Holland Pk 1 PU $10 Yes/No.

If you wish to do the job select Yes. if you change your mind or hit yes accidentally please advise query immediately. Failure to do so may result in a 15-minute recall penalty.
I have seen a groups job advertised on my MDT and I would like to do the job. Contact the Query Operator  who will then advise Groups.  If it is available, you will be told to return to data and the details will be sent. Please let query know if you are not ready to receive the job immediately or if your meter is on.
I am interested in doing groups on a permanent basis. Contact Groups on 3860 1833. You will need to come to the base to receive the School Group Rules of Operation and Notes and Guidelines on Sexual Harassment and Human Rights. It will be then your responsibility to remember when and where to pick up and on which days, it will not be sent to you via the MDT. Please call during  the hours of 9am to 2pm. 
The child/parent/school wants me to drop off or pick up at an address that is different to the one on my job details. Do not comply with this. You are only authorised to go to the address you have been given by Groups. Please advise Query or call Groups on 3860 1833 for clarification.
There is no responsible adult to hand the child over to. All groups children MUST be left with a responsible adult. No exceptions. Advise Query of the situation or call Groups directly and we will make enquiries. Do not leave until advised to do so, you will be compensated for time spent
I have picked up a Groups child and wish to transport them with another passenger. For example a hail going in the same direction You cannot do this. Groups children are not to travel with another other passenger unless authorised by Groups.
I have picked up a child from Tennyson Special school can I transport them with other groups children? No. All Tennyson children MUST travel alone in the taxi. There are no exceptions to this. When you see Must travel Alone on a groups job you must follow these instructions.
How do I receive payment for my job? Groups jobs are charged on yellow coloured Groups Dockets. These should be in the glove box of your car, available from your base or Fleet Services at the Black and White Airport base. Under no circumstances are you to request money from the child, parent or school. In an emergency or on approval from Groups you may use a green emergency docket.
Do I need a signature on the Docket? The only signature required is yours. The child, parent or school do not need to sign the docket.
I have received a Groups job but cannot plot to do work until the booking time or I have completed a Groups job and still cannot plot. You will need to C 6 5 twice on the MDT (Fast Meter).
I do not fully understand the job I have received. Contact the Query Operator. If you still then need further assistance call Groups on 3860 1833 or request that Groups call you.
There is no one home at the pick up address. Contact the Query Operator. Who will then advise us so we can call the parents to confirm.  Do not leave the address until directed to do so. Unless approved by groups do not leave the child at an unattended address. You will be compensated.
A child has been sick in my car or has damaged the car. Contact Groups on 3860 1833 or advise Query of the situation and we will call you. In most cases the $75 soiling fee will be applicable
What are the letters and numbers in the customer field of my job details? This is the code you put on the Docket to be paid. It may be ST RE NT or IG followed by some numbers.
A child is misbehaving in my car. Contact the Query Operator immediately and advise you need help from Groups. We will then call you on your mobile.  If the situation is an emergency that places yourself or the child/children in danger, pull over as soon as safe to do so and call Groups immediately on 3860 1833.  Try to remain calm, we will talk you through what to do.
I am having trouble finding my pick up/drop off point, or I cannot locate the child.  Contact the Query Operator. Or call groups on 3860 1833 and wait for further instruction. Do not leave the address until advised to do so.
I want to buy a groups child a treat ie chocolate or toys. You are never to do this. Groups children can be on medication/have allergies that may be harmed by this. As a stranger (no matter how many times you may transport the child) and a professional driver this can be seen as unacceptable behaviour to parents, teachers and the wider community despite your good intentions.
