VEHICLE AND DRIVER STANDARDS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

The year 2008 finished well with very strong passenger numbers right up until New Year?s Eve.  In fact each of the months in the December quarter feature in the top 4 months of jobs completed in our history.  January ?09 bubbled along very well with an increase over January ?08.

What will help continue to ensure we have continued growth in passenger numbers throughout the rest of ?09?  Vehicle and driver standards of course!

In tight economic times customers will be looking for value for money for all of their purchases.  The taxi market is not immune from that customer choice.  All of our drivers and taxi operators can make the choice easy for our passengers by presenting a clean and tidy cab; first impressions are lasting impressions.  Our drivers are obviously an integral part of the ?complete package? and passengers who are offered a choice between an immaculately presented driver and one who is not meeting the standard will make an obvious choice.

Our Fleet Operations Department has increased surveillance of uniform standards over the past two months.  The improvement has been exceptional and that has been supported by positive feedback we have received from our fleet and passengers alike.
 
The uniform and vehicle standards program will continue throughout 2009 as Black & White Cabs continues to ?make a difference? for our passengers in tight economic times.
