Restrictions easing in Greater Brisbane

Restrictions easing in Greater Brisbane

From 1am Friday 22 January 2021, restrictions will ease in Greater Brisbane and return to the same as the rest of the state.
It is still mandatory to wear a face mask at Queensland airports (indoor and outdoor areas) and for personalised transport drivers to wear a mask when transporting a person required to quarantine.
People are strongly encouraged to:

  • carry a mask at all times
  • wear a mask when travelling on public transport, in personalised transport, or in shopping centres
  • wear a mask in any indoor or outdoor space when physical distancing is not possible.

Visit Queensland Health for more information.
To make sure our community continues to have safe and accessible transport options, follow the recommendations for cleaning and managing vehicles during COVID-19.
